pro LightTransmitting over the entire apical post area for an optimized and at the same time shortened primary curing of the composite, right up to the tip of the root post. The dentist gains valuable seconds in a tightly timed schedule to be able to carry out the next work step without losing time.

The new pro modules feature the same outstanding properties as the CONTEC and CYTEC posts, which have been trusted in practice for over 30 years, in particular:

  • Optimized Flexural Strength

    HT-Glasfiber, translucent: 1.430 MPa (nach EN ISO 178)

    HT-Glasfiber, opaque: 1.400 MPa (nach EN ISO 178)

  • Optimized Fatigue and Fracture Resistance
  • Homogeneity through Dentin-like Modulus of Elasticity
  • Optimized, strong bond to composite
  • High Radiopacity

Secure adhesion thanks to a microporous, micro-retentive post surface

The additional mesh structure on the surface of CYTECpro posts supports the adhesive bond between the microporous, micro-retentive surface of the post and the resin. The result is optimized adhesion—without the use of a silane— simple and efficient.

Scientific studies conducted at the University of Rostock have demonstrated this for the CYTEC system. These results are also applicable to CYTECpro, since both posts feature the same surface mesh structure.

CYTECpro eco

features a retention-free design—for efficient manufacturing. Careful application of the adhesive system is especially important here.

High fatigue and fracture resistance

The high flexural strength of our HT-Glassfiber was fundamentally proven in scientific studies conducted in 2003 and 2004. Recent internal tests confirm these results.
The high flexural strength results in very high fatigue and fracture resistance. Comparative scientific studies as part of in-vitro tests at Charité Berlin in 2004 also support this.¹
