Periodontometer with new scaling according to the new “PAR guideline for the systematic treatment of periodontitis and other periodontal diseases.”
This came into force on 01.07.2021 and is the first independent guideline for periodontal treatments.
With the new measurement scale, all values can be determined that are necessary for the implementation of the new guideline – with regard to the new classification and the therapy steps. It simplifies the diagnosis of periodontal and peri-implant diseases according to the new guideline. The two narrow, black depth markings serve as a reference for quick reading of the PSI values 3.5 and 5.5 mm.
