The photo mirrors for intraoral photography provide an exceptionally sharp reflection down to the finest detail. Combined with brilliant color accuracy and pleasantly bright reflection, they deliver intraoral images of outstanding quality.
Through our specially developed and optimized ion-beam hardening process, our mirrors achieve superior reflectivity and layer hardness. In our high-vacuum facilities, we produce a complex layer structure at 2 × 10⁻⁶ mbar using electron-beam evaporation, with the reflective layer made of pure rhodium.
Rhodium is a precious metal, similar to gold. The rhodium coating on the glass surface (FS – Front Surface) has the advantage that the image is reflected directly on the surface, ensuring absolute sharpness.
The handles are made of anodized aluminum.

The unique structure of the reflective layers – consisting of 36 layer packages – provides an unparalleled level of brightness through optimized light refraction, delivering a crystal-clear mirror image that cannot be achieved by standard mirrors.
FS ULTRA mirrors are up to 25% brighter (reflection relative to Al) than FS Rhodium.
The HD-quality FS ULTRA mirrors, with a reflection factor of more than 100% in the visible range (400–750 nm), provide excellent image quality and reflect the mirror image 1:1 with brilliant, natural color, exact sharpness, and high contrast, as demonstrated in Fraunhofer report 23.04.2009.
Compared to rhodium, the ULTRA bright mirror provides a crystal-clear, ultra-bright reflection.
