BLACKline ULTRA FS mouth mirror
The BLACKline instruments are given a high-end finish with a DLC diamond-like carbon coating. The matte finish eliminates disturbing glares. This is an important aspect for working under the microscope, which is becoming more and more important in endodontics. The BLACKline combines working comfort and ergonomics and offers superior advantages in all areas of diagnostics.
ULTRA FS mirror coating
- HD-quality mirror: very bright reflection and superior color accuracy, approx. 25% brighter than other FS mouth mirrors
- Acid-resistant mirror layer, but not of a metallic nature. This means that there is no anti-stick effect and therefore calcareous deposits can be burned into the mirror layer. Therefore, make sure to rinse with fully demineralized water or correctly set the decalcification in the washer-disinfector

The unique structure of the reflective layers – consisting of 36 layer packages – provides an unparalleled level of brightness through optimized light refraction, delivering a crystal-clear mirror image that cannot be achieved by standard mirrors.
FS ULTRA mirrors are up to 25% brighter (reflection relative to Al) than FS Rhodium.
The HD-quality FS ULTRA mirrors, with a reflection factor of more than 100% in the visible range (400–750 nm), provide excellent image quality and reflect the mirror image 1:1 with brilliant, natural color, exact sharpness, and high contrast, as demonstrated in Fraunhofer report 23.04.2009.
In direct comparison with rhodium, the split mirror clearly demonstrates the crystal-clear, ultra-bright reflection of ULTRA FS.
